Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Ice Cream Sandwich Update Released
The Android 4.0.4, Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is now available for owners of the device in Italy.
The upgrade can be accessed through Samsung KIES software and should arrive in all other regions later on. Android users can download the KIES software on their computers and connect their tablet to the software in order to install the update.
It is also expected to be available OTA.

Other Samsung Tabs including the 10.1 Wi-Fi, 8.9 Wi-Fi and 3G, 7.7 Wi-Fi and 3G, and 7.0 Wi-Fi and 3G are scheduled to receive Android 4.0, Ice Cream Sandwich sometime next month.
The Android 4.0.3, Ice Cream Sandwich update will be available for Verizon's HTC Rezound starting this week, according to a report.
AndroidGuys.com. claims to have heard from insiders that Verizon will begin rolling out the upgrade soon. It will mostly likely be performed OTA and bring the 4.0.3 build of the software to the HTC device.
Ice Cream Sandwich also recently arrived on the Samsung Galaxy S2, and S2 Skyrocket on AT&T.
The software debuted on the Galaxy Nexus smartphone at the end of last year and brings with it a slew of new features including the ability to resize widgets, a new graphics interface named Robato, panorama picture taking abilities, facial unlock, and faster performance.
Google also recently began rolling out Android 4.1, JellyBean for select devices including the Galaxy Nexus and Motorola XOOM Wi-Fi.
That software was introduced during the keynote at Google I/O and is featured on the Google Nexus 7 tablet that launched earlier this month.
JellyBean makes improvements to some of the features on Ice Cream Sandwich and brings Google Now, a voice command system similar to Apple's Siri, to all Android devices.
