Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 Release Date Set for Oct. 11 on Sprint, Price Set for $50
The release date for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 on Sprint will be Oct. 11.
The device will officially ship on that date and costs just $50 on contract. Customers can purchase the device online and through the company's retail locations.
"You can't go wrong with the incredible special offer we developed for Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 that allows customers to purchase one of the best tablets available at the easily affordable price of $49.99 and add it to their account starting at only $5 per month," said David Owens, vice president of Product Development for Sprint.
This is one of the best deals going for a smaller tablet. The Galaxy Tab line is pretty mid-range for the most part in comparison to some of the other slates found on the market. Some of the other smaller devices such as the iPad mini and Nexus 7 retail for around four times this price on contract. That makes this sale a score for someone looking to grab a tablet for peanuts.
"With a bright and colorful display and access to the Sprint 4G LTE network, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 rounds out Sprint's robust device portfolio to ensure that we offer a tablet or smartphone that will meet anyone's needs," he continued. "Business users will appreciate the big-time productivity features of this easily portable tablet, while consumers will appreciate its portability and versatility for communicating with friends and family, entertainment and gaming."
Specifications on the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 include a 7-inch display with 1024 x 600 resolution, a 1.7GHz dual-core CPU, 1GB RAM, 8GB storage and microSD support. The Tablet comes in white and a black model is expected to launch before the holidays.
