Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 Release Date for Black Model Coming Soon?

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 release date for the black model could be coming soon.

Pictures of the tablet donning the non-color surfaced on the internet last week, according to a report from YouMobile.org.

The black variant features silver trim and a white home button. It will feature the same specs as other models that include Android 4.2.2, JellyBean, a 1.3-megapixel front shooter, a 5-megapixel rear camera, an 8-inch display with 1200x800 resolution, a dual-core 1.5GHz processor and 1.5GB RAM.

Samsung unveiled its new line of Galaxy Tabs at a special media event last month.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 seems to be the most anticipated out of the three as it is the direct iPad Mini competitor. It also costs less than the Apple tablet as it retails for $299. The Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 is the smallest model of the three and costs just $199. It comes with a 1024x728 TFT display, a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 8GB of Internal storage, and Android 4.1, JellyBean.

The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 features a 10.1-inch display with the same resolution found on the 8-inch model. It also comes with an Intel Z2560 processor, a Clover Trail+design, and runs one of the latest versions of Android. Samsung's Intel collaboration of this device is the first of more joint projects that are soon to come. It is also helping Samsung to reduce its reliance on chips from Qualcomm and its very own in house Exynos operation.

One strange feature on the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 is its limited 1GB of RAM. This is a bit underwhelming for a device of this caliber. The Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 will cost just $399 when it is released.

Samsung will offer the Galaxy Tab 3 line in both classic white and a gold-brown color.
