Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Plus to Challenege iPad? Image Leaks
A picture of what is believed to be the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus surfaced on the internet earlier today.
However, nothing shown in the screenshot confirms that the device is actually the Galaxy Tab 3, so the device might look a bit different when it actually launches.
The tablet in the picture has a white bezel, a menu button, a home button, and a back button. The colors on the screen appear vibrant and it resembles the Galaxy Note 10.1.
Samsung is rumored to be releasing the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus at this year's IFA.
The company will introduce this tablet to better compete with Apple's iPad and the Sony Xperia Z tablet, according to SamMobile.
Samsung used a similar strategy when the company launched the Galaxy Tab 7.7 Super AMOLED Plus two years ago. This device received praise from customers and was regarded as one of the best tablets in the market.
With the Galaxy Tab 3, Samsung wants to repeat the formula by providing its customers with a bigger tablet sporting a high-end AMOLED display. It could either be 10 or 11 inches. The company is reportedly testing out different sizes at this time.
Rumored specs for the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus include a Samsung Exynos Octa CPU, Imagination Power SGX 544MP3 GPU, 2GB LPDDR# RAM, a microSD slot, 9000mAh standard li-ion battery, 10.055-inch 2560 x 1600 display with 300 ppi and an 8-megapixel camera with AF.
The display on the device will be full 1080p HD and will either be Super AMOLED or PLS LCD.
Rumored product codes for the Galaxy Tab 3 Plus are GT-P8200, GT-P8210, and HT P8220. Samsung is also expected to launch this tablet in other sizes.
