Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 vs Galaxy Tab S2 Specs Review: Improvements Fans Should Expect
Samsung has finally unveiled the much-awaited Galaxy Tab S3. The experts have aired their thoughts and have delivered what fans should expect of the improvements and changes in the new tab compared with the Tab S2.
Consumers have been wondering when the Galaxy Tab S2 will be upgraded. Finally, Samsung has the answer: the Galaxy Tab S3. With improvements on the chipset and many others specs, consumers may find reasons to switch to the new Samsung tablet.
According to Trusted Reviews, the Tab S3 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820. While this is not the most updated chipset from Qualcomm, it is a huge step forward. The Tab S2 featured the Snapdragon 652. Aside from this, the new Samsung tab sports 4 GB of random-access memory (RAM).
The Galaxy Tab S3 can also be considered as an entertainment tab due to the addition of high dynamic range (HDR) in the screen resolution. At 9.7 inches, fans who like to play games using their tablets can be satisfied. The super active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) screen is also expected to further improve a user's gaming experience.
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was launched with the Android 5.0. While it has been powered with the Touchwiz skin, the Tab S3 is making another step forward with the Android 7.0 Nougat. The Touchwiz skin for the new tablet has also been updated.
Samsung has yet to officially announce the price for the Galaxy Tab S3. However, analysts believe that it will come with a heftier price than the Tab S2. This could be true since there are apparent improvements not just in the software but also in the design.
Meanwhile, Tech Radar notes that Samsung could have done better in terms of the operating system (OS) integrated into the Galaxy Tab S3. The outlet believes that Android isn't the most recommended OS for tablets. The specs have been upgraded but it appears that there are not too many improvements in the OS and battery system.
