Samsung recently released its first advertisement for its upcoming Galaxy Note 5, highlighting the handset's auto-eject S Pen.

Putting emphasis on its OLED display, split-screen multitasking, and a brand new design, Samsung launched its first ad for the Galaxy Note 5, less than a week after announcing the device together with the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus during its 2015 Unpacked Event.

The ad put particular focus on the South Korean tech manufacturer's Auto-Eject S Pen design with its extending tip.

The 30-second clip began by presenting the Galaxy Note 5's new design features, touching on the handset's curved back and thin frame, giving users an idea of how comfortably it would fit in the hand.

It also demonstrated the S Pen's auto-eject mechanism, which presented a departure from the previous stylus extraction methods in past models. The new S Pen has been imbued with new features, including a pop-up menu that appears when the stylus is held over the screen.

However, one new feature, the ability to write down notes even while the display is asleep, was not featured in the ad.

The clip also showcased the handset's other abilities, including the TouchWiz, Air Command multitasking, annotation, and image editing.

The Galaxy Note 5, which is now available for pre-order before it is officially launched on August 21, will have a 5.7-inch frame with a Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen underneath Corning Gorilla Glass 4.
