Samsung Shows Extreme Measures for Quality in Two New Clips

When one hits rock bottom, there is nowhere else to go but up. This is exactly the path that the Korean behemoth Samsung is taking, and it is seriously considering 2017 as the year when it makes an unprecedented comeback from a rather unfortunate Note 7 explosion fiasco.

2016 has been marred with a rough dilemma for Samsung. What started as a great debut for the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Edge came to a trust-affecting debacle with the Note 7 which has been spontaneously combusting. All units have been recovered and replaced, and now the phone manufacturer is doing everything in its power to make sure it doesn't happen again.

It can be recalled that the company shared the results of its investigation of the matter through a highly detailed infographic. This showed that the two main reasons for the combustion of the product mainly emanated from the restrictive design that had effects on the battery, as well as missing insulation tapes.

To appease everyone that Samsung is taking these findings to heart, it first released a revealing video presentation of what went wrong and what the company is currently doing about it. By replicating the mistakes and undergoing rigorous quality checks, the company is taking full accountability and ensuring everyone that they are safe with the brand.

Today, Samsung reminds consumers about this unending exploit once more in two clips. The first video further discusses what the company calls the "eight-point battery safety check." They subject the phones to extreme conditions, whether it is extreme cold or heat. They even go the extra mile of puncturing the phones to ensure quality for each prototype.

The second clip goes even further with the tests. By bending the phones, dropping them from heights, and subjecting them to water, they try to see how the models handle severe conditions.

If anything, this just goes to show the amount of dedication Samsung is putting into its upcoming phones. Fans can expect a better version of the brand this year.
