"At Samsung, we pride ourselves at being the first in developing the newest technology that improves the way we live, communicate and shape the world," All Africa quotes Kim. "We pioneered large display phones and then led the way with curved glass technology."

Kim went on to say that with the launching of the Galaxy S6 Edge Plus, Samsung is creating a marriage of large-screen smartphones and curved glass technology. The new phone, which is now more intuitive and efficient, gives consumers more value for their money, said Kim.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus has a slim, light, and stylish built that features metal and glass components. The phablets boasts of a 5.7-inch curved Super AMOLED display with a QHD 2560 x 1440 pixel resolution. The company says this type of display has excellent color and image quality that contribute to improved user and entertainment experience, Digital Versus reports.

The new Samsung flagship smartphone runs on the Exynos 7 Octa SoC chip, with either 32 GB or 64 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM. It also boasts of a 16-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. The device is powered by a 3,000 mAh battery, which lasts up to 11 hours and 17 minutes and can be fully charged in 80 minutes.

Like the Galaxy S6 Edge, the S6 Edge Plus also has a fast and accurate fingerprint scanner. Overall, although there are a few issues with the phone's display and battery, there are also lots of positive things to be said about the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Plus. Its curved display makes users select options involuntarily, but it is definitely still one of the greatest highlights of the phone.
