San Antonio Spurs vs Dallas Mavericks Live Stream: Watch Online NBA Basketball
It's a Texas Showdown as the Dallas Mavericks host the San Antonio Spurs at the American Airlines Arena in the NBA. The match is on March 24, 2015 and tip-off is at 8 p.m. ET.
This is a rematch between the two teams who met in the first round of the NBA playoffs last season, with the Spurs being stretched to seven games against the eighth seeded Mavericks.
And the two teams have already met twice this year, with both teams getting a win each.
In their first meeting at AT&T Center, San Antonio escaped with a 101-100 victory. Tony Parker scored a team high 23 points while shooting 60 percent from the field, while Manu Ginobili added 20 from the bench. Tim Duncan had a solid game as well with 14 points and 13 rebounds in 31 minutes.
For the Mavs, Monta Ellis poured in 26 points while Dirk Nowitzki added 18 on 64 percent shooting.
However, the close game was decided by the team percentages as the Spurs drained 53 percent of their attempts from the field while Dallas was a bit lower despite still putting a decent number of 49 percent.
In the second meeting in Dallas, the Mavs readjusted and made the Spurs shoot only 42 percent from the field. Marco Belinelli led San Antonio with 21 points as Gregg Popovich decided to rest his usual starters.
Winning 99-93, the Mavs got another big game from Ellis, who scored 38 points, while Chandler Parsons added 16 and got 11 rebounds.
Currently, the Spurs are sixth in the West, and hold a 1.0 game advantage over Dallas, who are seventh.
San Antonio has also won three straight heading into their meeting against the Mavs, beating the Milwaukee Bucks, Boston Celtics and Atlanta Hawks.
Meanwhile, the Mavericks have dropped two straight with losses to the Memphis Grizzlies and the Phoenix Suns.
