Blake Griffin was phenomenal in the game, scoring 30 points and grabbing 14 rebounds. However, the Clippers failed to get any contribution from sparkplug Jamal Crawford as he only scored eight points and shot 4-of-1 from the field, failing to make any of his six attempts from the three point area. DeAndre Jordan had 21 points and 14 rebounds, while Chris Paul had 19 points and 10 assists in the loss.
Meanwhile, Tim Duncan showed why he is considered one of the best players to ever play the game as he led the Spurs with 21 points and grabbed 11 rebounds. Despite in his late 30s, Duncan still proved he can go toe-to-toe with the much more physical play of Los Angeles as he tried to control Jordan and Griffin.
Kahwi Leonard added 18 points to help the Spurs, while Patty Mills was perfect from beyond the arc. The Australian point guard was 4-of-4 from three and finished with 13 points.
As they try to wrap the series up at home, expect San Antonio to implore the same strategy to find the open man for a shot.
