San Diego, California, is one of the top cities which will celebrate fourth of July with amazing fireworks displays and other interesting activities.

The city ranks fourth in terms of the magnitude of celebration for Independence Day, the San Diego Union Tribune said. Below are some of the top events with fireworks highlights happening in the locality on July 4, as listed by SanDiego.org.

1. Annual Big Bay Boom Fireworks Show
There will be multiple locations along San Diego Bay which will have fireworks displays beginning at 9 p.m. This is said to be the biggest pyrotechnics showcase with fireworks taking off from barges along the North San Diego Bay.
2. Ocean Beach Fireworks at the Pier
People can simply visit the pier at the end of Newport Avenue and spend a great time with their families eating out on a picnic or swimming by the beach. A fireworks show will be the highlight of the 9 p.m. event on the same venue.
3. San Diego County Fair 4th of July Celebration
This will take place at the Del Mar Fairgrounds along Durante Boulevard in Del Mar. Activities will begin as early as 9 a.m. with a food fair and other forms of entertainment expected to be offered to the public. The pyro display will happen at 9 p.m.
4. Legoland California
This could be the perfect family destination for many since more than 60 rides await potential visitors on July 4. A fireworks display will also cap the night at 8:30 p.m.
5. The Spirit of the Fourth at Rancho Bernardo's
Beginning at 7 a.m., the Webb Park will treat the public to a celebration filled with food, games and music. There is an expected fireworks show at before the event ends at 9:30 p.m.
6. Chula Vista 4th Fest
According to NBC San Diego, the Chula Vista Olympic Training Center will also have a patriotic fireworks display at 9 p.m. People will be allowed to enter the venue at 6 p.m. Each viewing venue in the area can reportedly hold about 3,000 people.
How can I watch?
A television broadcast and live streaming of the event are available via NBC News or Fox 5 beginning at 8 p.m., an hour before most of the fireworks show will start.
