Sarah Palin Attending Premiere of 'The Undefeated' in Iowa

Sarah Palin’s expected visit to Iowa on Tuesday further fuels the speculation of her aspirations for the presidency. Palin, however, is not in Iowa to make the usual political appearances that are typical of candidates before the primary.

Instead, she is in Pella, Iowa, to attend the premiere of the documentary by Stephen K. Bannon entitled, “The Undefeated.” This film is expected to paint her in a positive light. It traces her beginnings as a worker on a commercial fishing boat in Alaska that she co-owns with her husband, Todd Palin, to her rise as governor, reports Reuters.

Bannon told Reuters that the film shows her taking on vested interests. “She’s not part of any social or cultural or political elite,” says Bannon, as quoted by Reuters.

Meanwhile Palin’s daughter, Bristol, caught the media’s attention when she declared on Fox News that her mother has decided whether or not she will run for the presidency. “She definitely knows,” said Bristol, but followed up by saying that the decision would be kept within the family for now.

With regard to whether she wants her mother to run, the young Palin told Extra, “Of course I do.”

“She’s awesome. She’s s great politician. She’s smart. She would beat anyone in a debate.”

The former Alaska governor, however, dismissed her daughter's comments later, saying she hasn't come to a decision yet.

"I texted Bristol and said, 'honey, what did you say this morning?'" Palin said after arriving in Pella, according to Times Union. "I don't know what she said, but I'm still thinking about it."
