Sarah Palin Confirms Participation in Tea Party Rally

Amid much speculation about whether or not Sarah Palin will choose to run in the 2012 presidential election, the former Alaskan governor has announced she will participate in a Tea Party Rally on Saturday.
Although Palin will take part in the rally in Iowa, she still has yet to confirm whether she intends to run for president. However, the 2008 vice presidential candidate seems to be dropping hints via her Twitter page.

"America is waiting for the president to make good on this promise," Palin recently posted on Twitter. "I'll be talking about this and more."
Palin has also been invited to join Minnesota Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney, Texas Rep. Ron Paul, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, businessman Herman Cain, former Pennsylvania Sen. Rick Santorum and former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman in the nationally televised Tea Party Debate scheduled for Sept. 12, according to CNN news reports. However, her camp has yet to respond to the invitation, which some say she is only confusing her supporters.
Erick Erickson, RedState conservative blogger, said Palin is misleading her constituents.
"We are coming to the end of the line for Sarah Palin's ability to string the Republican primary voters along," Erickson wrote. "They are trying to settle on a candidate now, they've held out hope of her entry and are now ready for her to put up or shut up. Many of them have already moved on."
David Roederer, the individual who ran John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign in Iowa, said the Palin is running out of time to make a decision, according to CNN reports.
"Is the window closed? No, but it's getting closed," Roederer said. "It would take some effort to get through the window at this point."
Although Palin continues to create speculation while making appearances at various Tea Party events, it is likely she will not make an official announcement about her candidacy until the end of September.
