'Scandal' season 5 plot news: Leaked video showed intimate love scene

With the return of "Scandal" soon approaching, there was a video leaked showing an intimate scene in the upcoming season.

It was reported that a leaked video revealed Olivia Pope, played by Kerry Washington, sharing an intimate love scene with President Fitzgerald Grant, played by Tony Goldwyn. The previous season saw the two sharing a kiss in the finale. With that, fans have been questioning whether the couple will reveal the state of their relationship to the public in the season to come. It was also confirmed that the season will see Olivia finally choosing Fitz over Jake, played by Scott Foley. Even producer Shonda Rhimes herself explained that Olivia and the President's relationship will strengthen during the next season.

Meanwhile, it was reported that Kerry and Scott are in a feud in real life. An insider stated, "Kerry is a very take-charge gal, but Scott is a veteran actor with his own opinions, and many of them rubbed Kerry the wrong way. Scott knows that Kerry is tight with Shonda, so he sees the writing on the wall. He wouldn't be surprised if he got killed off early this fall."

With that, it is interesting to see how their chemistry will go on for the season to come.

Because of Fitz and Olivia's relationship, it is evident that the first lady, Millie Grant, played by Bellamy Young, was asked to leave the White House, which hints a Presidential Divorce. It is expected that Millie will become so stressed due to the status of her relationship with her husband. Nevertheless, she will continue in her political battle against Elizabeth, played by Portia de Rossi. The season to come hints the presence of intense scenes between Millie and Elizabeth since Elizabeth will become the President's right hand.

The premiere episode of Scandal is titled "Heavy in the Head." The fifth season is expected to air on Sept. 24.
