Vanessa Reveals Marital Problems to the Press in 'Scandal' Season 6

Vanessa (Jessalyn Gilsig) will not stay quiet about her husband's affair any longer in the upcoming episode of "Scandal."

In the episode titled "They All Bow Down," the synopsis reveals that Vanessa no longer wants to keep their marital problems a secret from the public. Jake's (Scott Foley) campaign will be heavily affected, forcing Olivia (Kerry Washington) to do some much-needed intervention.

Unfortunately for the fixer, Vanessa is raring for a fight. Jake's wife will tell Olivia exactly what she feels about working with her man's lover. The tension between the two women will escalate that the press will even get wind of the violent catfight.

The promo shows Vanessa insulting Olivia and viewers can tell the exact moment the latter lost her composure. She grabs Vanessa by the collar and pushes her to the wall. Olivia then orders Vanessa to continue talking. The whole scenario suggests that they will claw each other's eyes soon if someone will not come to separate them. Vanessa does not seem to care that other people will see her disheveled and unlike her cool, collected self. She certainly looks done playing the part of Jake's loyal wife. What will Olivia do to salvage Jake's political career?

Meanwhile, new evidence will surface regarding Frankie's (Ricardo Chavira) assassination. Last episode, Cyrus (Jeff Perry) confirmed that his lover, Tom (Brian Letscher), never touched Frankie. He also almost convinced Olivia that he was not the killer.

Although she hates Cyrus, Olivia could see that he was telling the truth. The fixer is expected to dig deeper into the matter. If Cyrus is not the culprit, it means that the killer is still at large and may pounce again anytime. Who will be the next target?

"Scandal" season 6 episode 5 will air Thursday, March 9, at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
