'Scandal' Season 6 Episode 6 Spoilers: Rowan Reunites With an Old Friend
An old friend's return will throw Rowan (Joe Morton) off balance in the upcoming episode of "Scandal."
In the episode titled "Extinction," the synopsis (according to CarterMatt) reveals that someone from Command's past will resurface. The person's reappearance will catch him by surprise, something that usually does not happen to the mighty Mr. Pope. Whether he likes it or not, Rowan will have to face the idea that he may be losing his precarious hold on the White House. Last episode, Jake (Scott Foley) was revealed to have betrayed him by saving Frankie's (Ricardo Chavira) campaign worker Jennifer Fields (Chelsea Kurtz). This mystery person may be the last straw for Rowan. Who could it be?
Meanwhile, more details will be revealed about the night Frankie was assassinated. Olivia (Kerry Washington) is also being teased to be making a life-changing decision with regards to Mellie's (Bellamy Young) and Jake's campaign. Will this be because she will finally discover who the killer is?
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Foley talked about the upcoming revelation. According to him, the next episodes will drop hints as to who ordered Frankie's death. Viewers will get to see what exactly each character was doing during that fateful night. Foley also hinted that Jake might be planning something behind everyone's back.
"I think it's all going to slowly unravel. At a certain point, there will definitely be that aha moment. Like, 'Oh my god. This piece fits that. That's where Jake was. This is why Jennifer Fields is alive. That's what Olivia wants with Jennifer Fields.' It will all play together. When that's going to happen? Give it a few episodes. We've still got some digging to do. Each episode we'll un-fog the mirror a little bit more," Foley teased, according to THR.
"Scandal" season 6 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EDT on ABC.
