In a recent report Young shared that her character Millie gets shocked once she knows of Cyrus' candidacy. She noted that having Cyrus in the vice presidential list is a terror for everyone. Cyrus is one dirty soul and will do anything to keep his power. Young further shared that the elections will definitely be a bloodbath and the news will shatter her.
Olivia (Kerry Washington) on the other hand will make sure that Cyrus gets defeated. Millie however is playing up a scheme in order to also defeat Cyrus which can be difficult for her. Cyrus knows well a lot about Millie's past. Cyrus was Fitz's (Tony Goldwyn) Chief of Staff which means he must be something. Millie is well aware that Cyrus is watching her closely.

Meanwhile Fitz will leave his seat so for him to achieve his dreams. He will move on to shape his own personal life. There are going to be a lot of challenges in the upcoming season. Many decisions from each character will become important to the story.
