Scriptwriter Accidentally Hints Inclusion of Doctor Strange in Upcoming 'Avengers: Infinity War'
Speculations that Benedict Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange character to be included in the two-part "Avengers: Infinity War" have become even louder. This came after one of the scriptwriters of the movie, Stephen McFreely, cited Cumberbatch as an example when it comes to the scheduling of the actors for the upcoming Marvel movie during an interview.
"The scheduling has got to be a nightmare. You can't just say, 'Benedict Cumberbatch or whoever come to Atlanta for eight months.' It can't work that way," McFreely said.
Heroic Hollywood opines, though, that it is completely sensible for Cumberbatch's Doctor Strange character to be part of "Avengers: Infinity War" as he would be the one responsible for the opening the portals of Marvel Cinematic Universe to the dimensions of magic and many other things. The superhero-entertainment website claims that what the fans of the movie should look forward to is how the character will be woven into the story.

Meanwhile, Huffington Post implies that a certain scene in the blockbuster "Avengers: Age of Ultron" may have already hinted of a possible scene in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" movie. According to the website, the scene in reference is where Tony Stark had a vision of the deaths of his superhero friends. Huffington Post believes that this can be the very reason why in the current blockbuster "Captain America: Civil War," is kept alive when, in fact, in the comic book version of the story, he is killed.
Joe Russo, one of the directors of "Captain America: Civil War," said that everything about the movie had been carefully discussed and that killing Chris Evans' Captain America would have been an easy way out. His brother, Anthony, added that the tragedy of the current blockbuster is about the falling apart of a family, the Avengers in this case, and not killing Captain America.
Mcfreely, along with fellow "Civil War" writer Christopher Markus, supported the statements of the Russo brothers, saying that Captain America is still needed in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" as the movie will feature Thanos as the main bad guy in the movie.
"We kind of need him. There's a big purple guy. He could be very helpful," Markus said.
With the speculated participation of Doctor Strange in the upcoming "Avengers: Infinity War" and keeping Captain America alive to help battle Thanos, those looking forward to the movie can expect it to boast of, at least, action-filled and magical adventures.
Meanwhile, Cumberbatch's standalone film feature about the Sorcerer Supreme, "Doctor Strange," hits the theaters on Nov. 4.
