Sean Lowe A 'Pleasure' on 'Dancing With The Stars,' Says Exec Producer (VIDEO)
Sean Lowe recently made his debut on season 16 of ABC's "Dancing With The Stars" and the show's executive producer has spoken out against claims suggesting that he is demanding on set.
Reports surfaced claiming the "The Bachelor" star, who is partnered up with Australian dancer Peta Murgatroyd, made bizarre requests on set of his new gig Friday. Conrad Green, who is the show's executive producer, refuted the rumors.
"Sean is a pleasure and there is nothing diva-like about him," Green told TMZ.com.
The 29-year-old entrepreneur has become a fan favorite on the hit show, which is currently in his second week. Fiance Catherine Giudici, who has been spotted cheering him on from the audience, is undoubtedly Lowe's biggest fan.
"I went over to her and she just said she was so proud of me, and that she loved me," Lowe told Us magazine.
"I think she'd give me a 10, I know the judges didn't tonight. That's what a good fiance does," he continued.
Lowe proposed to Giudice, 26, in Thailand and the special moment recently aired during the season finale of "The Bachelor." He credits much of his "DWTS" gig to the Seattle-based graphic designer.
"Dancing is a challenge and I am one that loves to embrace a challenge and do things outside of my comfort zone," he explained
"This certainly fits that mold, and most importantly Catherine was behind me. She was the first person I called after they approached me and she said she would support me and thought it would be a fun opportunity for both of us," he added.
Lowe, who scored 19 out of 30 during his first week, revealed that Murgatroyd and Giudice have since developed a friendship.
"Peta is certainly a gorgeous girl, anyone can see that, but Catherine is so confident and not worried," he said. "And her and Peta have become friends!"
