Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici 'Excited to Consummate as Husband and Wife'
Couple famously abstained from intimacy before marriage
Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici's wedding is only days away, and though the couple is excited to stand before God and exchange vows, they are also excited about one other aspect: consummating their relationship.
"I don't know what you're talking about," Giudici teased while speaking with ABC News.
"Well, of course [we're excited]," Lowe added.
The couple has famously abstained from intimate relations until after their wedding, which will take place on Sunday. Lowe, a born-again Christian, said that the practice was very important to him, and Giudici explained that she wanted to honor his wishes and respect his religious views. She was actually recently baptized into his church, with Lowe's father performing the rite.
"We made a really good decision for us and we're excited to consummate as husband and wife," Giudici said. "It's something that is a benefit of being married."
The couple will also be moving in together for the first time, which will be another experience for the newlyweds. Of course, they have been spending plenty of time together since their engagement on "The Bachelor," but moving in will be a whole different ballgame … one they are both looking forward to.
When asked about who would be the most emotional at the wedding, which will be aired on national TV, Lowe said he would be.
"Definitely me. I'm the softie. Anytime I start talking about her, I can't help but tear up. I'm gonna be focusing on her and watching her walk down the aisle in her dress. And we're kinda used to the cameras after all this anyway," Lowe explained. "Honestly, I'm just gonna be zeroed in on Catherine."
The couple is one of the few who actually stayed together after getting engaged on "The Bachelor." Now their wedding will also be televised, but that does not bother them, as they are simply looking forward to finally being together as husband and wife.
