Seattle Seahawks vs Atlanta Falcons Live Stream Free: Watch Online NFL Playoffs Football
Seattle Seahawks vs Atlanta Falcons takes place on Sunday afternoon in the NFL playoffs with Russell Wilson looking to continue his amazing form this season and lead his Seahawks team to a win against one of the NFL's most impressive teams this season. The game is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
The Seahawks have had a quite astonishing run in to the regular season, winning seven of their last eight games. Included in that run of form they took down the Chicago Bears 23-17 on the road, as well as destroying the San Francisco 49ers 42-13.
The Seahawks continued that good run of form into the playoffs last week as they comfortably beat the Washington Redskins 24-14. That game had been touted as a face off between two of the most in form teams in the NFL, as well as two of the most impressive rookie quarterbacks of the season. However, when it came down to the crunch Russell Wilson ultimately delivered the Seahawks a game-winning performance, while the threat of Robert Griffin III was blunted by a fierce Seattle defensive line, and ended up limping off late in the game.
Wilson has had an impressive season, going 252 from 393 for 3,118 yards and 26 touchdowns. He has connected well with his big rush men, and in particular Marshawn Lynch - who has rushed 1,590 yards for 11 touchdowns.
Thanks to that pairing the Seahawks ranked 3rd in the NFL for rush yards, posting an average of 161.2 yards per game. They are heavily reliant on the rush though, and their pass ranked a lowly 27th in the NFL, achieving just 189.4 yards per game on average.
Their win against the Washington Redskins last week was impressive, but this week's opponents, the Atlanta Falcons, is a different challenge altogether. The Falcons led by Matt Ryan have had a fantastic season. They had lost only one game through to December, when it seemed they took their foot off the gas a little, conceding two surprise defeats against Carolina and Tampa Bay. However, at the same time, the manner in which they destroyed last year's Super Bowl champions, the New York Giants, 34-0, was enough to show everyone they can turn the screw when they need to.
Ryan has been immense, going 422 from 615 for 4,719 yards and 32 touchdowns. His arm has seen the Falcons rank 6th in the NFL for pass yards - registering an impressive 281.8 pass yards per game on average. However, again they are very reliant on the pass, and rank a lowly 29th in the NFL in rush offense, making just 87.3 yards per game on average. That has not hurt them through the season though, and they finished 13-3, gaining a first round playoff bye last week. That should mean they are well rested and ready to take on the Seahawks today. It also means they have home advantage, which could prove vital in what is likely to be a tight match up.
