At the moment, the Seahawks hold second place with a 9-5 record, only behind the Arizona Cardinals who have been very impressive with a 12-2 pip.
On the other hand, the Rams are third at 6-8 and have a very slim chance of making it to the post-season but are still expected to battle it out to the final whistle – especially against a division rival in the Seahawks.
This is the second time the teams will meet in the regular season, and the Seahawks are looking to avenge their earlier defeat against St. Louis.
These two teams met in Week 1 of the season and it was an intense battle as the match went to overtime.
St. Louis capitalised on errors from their rivals to win 34-31 in extra period.
The Seahawks actually had a chance to win it in regulation time, but St. Louis kept their composure and Nick Foles found Lance Kendricks for a touchdown with less than a minute left in the game. Greg Zuerlein would then make the extra point to tie it at 31.
During overtime, Zuerlein became the hero again as he scored a 37-yard field goal to win it for the Rams.
However, things have changed and the Seahawks have rebounded and are looking strong as the season comes to a close. If they peak at the right time, they are looking at a great run in the post-season and they will get that victory over the Rams.
