Although the concerts are held in Nashville, "this is a global call to action, and the concert will be promoted nationally," stated the event website.

Tickets cost $10 and are available at www.etix.com.

Since 1978, Operation Blessing has provided aid to more than 175.1 million people in 96 countries and all 50 states. Staff and volunteers are currently working around the clock to bring emergency relief to thousands of tsunami survivors.

In addition to the Nashville concerts, an MTV Asia Aid benefit concert was held in Bangkok on Feb. 3 featuring both Asian and western pop stars including host Alicia Keys and Rain of South Korea.
