Secret Files on Aliens: Extraterrestrials Living in Russia Jokes PM Medvedev

Each new Russian president is given two secret files on aliens, Prime Minister Dimitry Medvedev told a journalist on Friday. He said the folders are "top secret" and contain information on extraterrestrials that are currently living on Earth.

"Along with the briefcase with nuclear codes, the president of the country is given a special 'top secret' folder. This folder in its entirety contains information about aliens who visited our planet. Along with this, you are given a report of the absolutely secret special service that exercises control over aliens on the territory of our country," Medvedev said.

But before Russian alien conspiracy theorists can say "told you so," the Russian PM quickly indicated that his comment was a joke.

"More detailed information on this topic you can get from a well-known movie called 'Men In Black,'" he said.

His comments were made after an appearance on Ren TV while not realizing that his microphone was still attached and recording.

In the movie 'Men in Black,' Will Smith plays a police officer who is recruited by a secret government organization that deals with the capturing and monitoring of aliens that come to Earth.

If there were secret files on aliens, the Russian government may probably know the truth behind recent incidents involving alleged alien activity. Last year, traffic controllers in Siberia said they saw a fast-flying UFO speed across their flight monitors and emitted cat-like language from a female.

Then, there was that 1984 incident when a reported alien green light lit up the cabin of a plane and left the pilots ill. The case is still unexplained.
