There's a reason why the adage "all dogs go to Heaven" makes no mention of cats. This video proves it by showing how the two animals teach their offspring how to handle stairs.
At first, a loving Labrador mama patiently encourages her pup to negotiate its way down a set of stairs. After offering to walk down the terrifying descent beside her babe, the mother Lab trots down to the landing, beckoning the puppy to follow her. The pup gingerly takes it step by step, reuniting with its mother, filled with new knowledge and confidence.
Six-month-old Bella the kitten, on the other hand, is taught things the hard way by older Kimba. As Bella feels out a daunting loft ladder, Kimba gives the kitty a "helping" paw that doesn't seem very helpful. Don't worry – Bella wasn't hurt by the tumble (and I'd wager the crystal-clear crashing sound to be some editing embellishment).
