Selena Gomez and The Weeknd News: Couple Moves into Luxury Apartment in New York City

After the fiasco she faced during her relationship with Justin Bieber, "Fetish" singer Selena Gomez seems to be doing well with The Weeknd (Abel Tesfaye). Recent reports reveal that the couple has decided to move in together in a New York City apartment. Although it is not clear about how long they will stay in the city, fans are thrilled to hear about this new development.

A source has confirmed to ET Online that Gomez and the "Starboy" singer have made a home at a low-rise, luxury building in the middle of Greenwich Village. Considering that Gomez usually stays in a hotel when she has to work on a project away from her home in Los Angeles, the source further emphasizes that this is a big step in their relationship.

"They are both super busy with work so it is nice that, when they have some down time between busy schedules, they have a home together," another source told Hollywood Life.

Their shared living conditions are temporary. Gomez is only in New York to do her part in the filming of a Woody Allen project. No details have been revealed about it yet, but given that she was recently spotted on set, fans are expecting to have more information on the project in the next few weeks. On the other hand, The Weeknd is currently on tour. In the meantime, both are paying for a $16,000 rent for the apartment they are currently living in.

There have been more developments in their relationship during the past few weeks as Gomez revealed that she has adopted a King Charles Cavalier puppy. Sources say that she and Tesfaye are the caregivers and that it is another big milestone for the couple.

As to how this relationship will pan out, fans will just have to hope and pray that they make it through their hectic schedules.
