Selena Gomez Flashes Gold Ring From Justin Bieber at Kids Choice Awards 2014 (VIDEO)
Selena Gomez fueled elopement rumors on Saturday after wearing a gold ring on her wedding finger at the 2014 Kids Choice Awards, however, the singer is not engaged to Justin Bieber.
Last week engagement speculation began when the "Come & Get It" singer, 21, was photographed wearing what appeared to be the same gold band at the We Day California event on March 27. Gomez, who reunited with Bieber in Texas earlier this month, again flashed the ring while taking the stage in Los Angeles on Saturday to accept the orange blimp for Favorite Female Singer.
"The ring was a gift from Justin, it's not an engagement ring," an insider told HollywoodLife.com. "But they are back on and very serious."
The former Disney star first began dating the "Confident" singer in 2011 and since then the pair have been romantically involved on-and-off.
Bieber split up with Gomez last year due to trust issues, but he is believed to have wooed her back following a series of romantic gestures. One of these gestures includes a tweet gushing about Gomez's "elegant" appearance at the Vanity Fair Oscars party followed by a reported $10,000 purchase for flowers.
"Bieber has hardcore been after Selena ... After he posted the Oscar picture of her calling her a princess, he sent her $10,000 worth of flowers," a source told RadarOnline.com.
"Justin will do anything, literally anything for Selena," the source explained. "I don't think he'll ever stay monogamous, but he loves her. He really does."
Gomez voluntarily checked into rehab in January following series of relationship woes with Bieber and despite the recurring heartbreak, the pair cannot seem to let each other go.
"When they first got together they were America's sweethearts -- they were both famous, but sort of on the same level as a lot of stars, but then it exploded and now no one else they date can relate to that or understand it," the insider revealed.
"Nor can they trust anyone else. So they gravitate towards each other because of that," the source explained.
