Selena Gomez Turns 22; Will Celebrate Birthday With Friends Not Justin Bieber
Selena Gomez turned 22 on Tuesday and insiders claim she will mark her birthday with a low-key celebration with close friends and family.
The "Come & Get It" singer will reportedly party with guests at a private estate in California as she celebrates her birthday and her friends are going to great lengths to ensure that the event is drama-free.
In recent months Gomez has made headlines for her tumultuous relationship with Justin Bieber and in the wake of their recent split, he is reportedly banned from attending her birthday party.

"No one wants [Bieber] to go. All her friends want him out of the picture and just want her to have a relaxing birthday with no trouble and they think he's going to dominate her attention," a source told E! News.
Last year Gomez celebrated her 21st birthday in Los Angeles and her friends presented her with a cake that featured leopard-print frosting and adorable pictures of the singer and Bieber.
This year however the former Disney star's friends want absolutely no mention of Bieber out of fear that just his name alone could trigger sad emotions.
The couple split last month due to trust issues and since then the "Confident" singer has been photographed spending time with other girls, including his former love interest Chantel Jeffries. Despite the photos, Gomez reportedly still loves him which has made their latest split very difficult for her.
"She doesn't seem to care that he spends time with other women and isn't always honest with her," the source said. "She's hypnotized. Her friends just want her to enjoy herself for her birthday, but if Justin attends it might complicate matters."
Gomez has been jet setting around Europe in recent days amid reports that she is trying to keep her mind off of her relationship woes. A source claims her little sister is inspiring her to move forward in a mature and positive manner.
"Selena's biggest inspiration for getting over Justin and moving on has been her little sister Gracie," a source told HollywoodLife.com.
"Selena wants to be a role model for her. She wants to be a self empowered woman who takes care of herself mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually," the insider explained.
