Selena, Sheeran: Singing Together or Dating?

Ed Sheeran was spotted leaving Selena's Gomez's house with his guitar in tow earlier this week, sparking a slew of new rumors about the nature of their relationship. While some reports suggested that the British singer is collaborating with Gomez on a duet, others indicated that the pair is romantically involved.

"They are hooking up," divulged one source close to the situation, according to Us Weekly.

Alternately, a second source revealed a conflicting report.

"They are friends with an open mind," said the other insider at Us Weekly. "He's sensitive and sweet and a lot deeper than Justin," they added of Gomez's ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Furthering rumors of him dating the "Spring Breakers" star, Sheeran recently admitted that he "wouldn't complain" if he were to be fixed up on a date with Gomez.

However, the "A Team" singer denied being more than just friends with Gomez, despite being spotted at her home with his guitar.

"I literally went to a house party at her house and I had my guitar because I had come from the airport," Sheeran told Fuse.

Regardless of a possible romance, it is believed that Taylor Swift, with whom Sheeran is currently on tour, introduced he and Gomez over Memorial Day Weekend.

Gomez has also been linked to her former "Wizards of Waverly Place" co-star David Henrie.

The busy star will celebrate her 21st birthday in July and is promoting her upcoming world tour and summer album "Stars Dance."

As for Gomez's ex-boyfriend, another source revealed that the former Disney star is really moving on from Bieber.

"She got sick of having to take care of Justin like he was her child," a source told Us Weekly. "This is a nice escape from the drama."

Gomez and Bieber's on-and-off relationship lasted two years.
