'Sense8' Season 2 Spoilers: Release Date Suffers Setback
After the successful first season of Netflix series "Sense8," fans will have to do more waiting for its return.
The Netflix series was on the brink of cancellation months ago, which caused fans to show their support for the series on social media. With that, it was revealed that "Sense8" was renewed for another season. However, the cinematographer of the series John Toll explained that it will take a lot longer than expected for "Sense8" season 2 to premiere.
There were several rumors stating that the series will return as early as June 2016. However, Toll's interview had proved otherwise. According to The Film Stage, the production team of the series is still working on the upcoming season. Toll explained that there are still a lot of things they have to talk about, such as scheduling. He did reveal that filming will most likely begin on March 2016.

The story of "Sense8" is set in a world where people can be reincarnated as a Sensate. Being a Sensate allows for eight different human beings from different countries of the world to connect with each other in a unique way. They are able to converse, hear each other's thoughts, and use each other skills as they go through several obstacles.
The first season of the series focused on the journey of one cluster, meaning a group of eight individual Sensates. It was speculated that the upcoming season will introduce more clusters. However, fans can expect that not all the clusters will have good intentions.
In addition, there are also rumors believing that the next season of "Sense8" will focus on love and the personal challenges of those in the cluster. The previous season left off with two of the Sensates from the same cluster falling in love, while trying to save each other.
