Serena Williams Says She’s on the Market for a Boyfriend
Tennis pro Serena Williams admits she has been in a bit of a dating drought since "forever" and says she is willing to change her super high standards for a male partner.
"I haven't been on a date in forever," Williams told Australian reporters on Thursday.
The three-time U.S. Open Champion split from her rapper boyfriend Common in 2010. Williams, 30, who also dated film Director Brett Ratner in 2005, admits to being too picky when it comes to men, if she even finds the time to mingle with them.
"I can be super picky, never satisfied. It's a little crazy right now because there's so much going on that when I'm not playing tennis I don't sleep because I'm always doing something," Williams told reporters.
When asked what her new list of requirements were for choosing a suitor, Williams joked about her new found openness.
"Anywhere between 18 and 80, blond, purple or green," she told reporters.
Williams will compete in next week's Australian Open in Melbourne. She has won the competition five times in the span of her tennis career.
