Seth Rollins Injury Latest News: The Architect Returns to 'RAW'
Three weeks after suffering from a torn MCL, professional wrestler Seth Rollins will be returning to wrestling program "WWE RAW." However, his comeback is not exactly what most fans had hoped for.
As announced by WWE on its official Twitter account on Monday, Feb. 20, "RAW" will feature an exclusive sit-down interview with Rollins when it airs live from Green Bay, Wisconsin next week. Rollins will be appearing in the show to address his feelings on Samoa Joe, Triple H and possibly his injury.
According to Comicbook, Rollins' forthcoming interview may mean good news for his supposed participation in the upcoming "Wrestlemania," with rumors and reports suggesting that WWE has been optimistic that "The Architect" would be able to recover from his recent knee injury in time for his much-awaited bout with Triple H.
WWE usually keeps a WWE superstar out of the public eye when that wrestling star is too injured to compete, maximizing the surprise of their eventual comeback. Rollins' interview is considered to be a good sign because it could mean he is on his way towards a full recovery from his injury.
Another hint regarding Rollins' return came in this week's episode of "RAW" which aired on Monday evening, Feb. 20. In that episode, Mick Foley told Stephanie McMahon that she was the reason Rollins would be missing another "Wrestlemania." This off-handed comment from an on-screen general manager is highly unlikely to be a hard fact since real injury updates concerning its professional wrestlers come from the official WWE website.
In an episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, and as reported by CageSideSeats, Dave Meltzer revealed reports which indicate that Rollins will be able to rehab his injured knee in time for "Wrestlemania." He said:
"Seth is considered good for WrestleMania. So Triple H vs. Seth is on, and that's what they're working towards. Maybe that's why they didn't tip their hand, but they are going with the idea that that match is still on and he will be ready for WrestleMania."
For his sit-down interview on "RAW" next week, wrestling fans expect Rollins to give an update on his injury and possibly share his plans for his "Wrestlemania" return.
