Sextortion Photos: Miss Teen USA Hacking Case Leads to Arrest of California Teen (PHOTO, VIDEO)

Sextortion photos of the reigning Miss Teen USA have seen a California teenager put in jail this week.

According to police many other women may have also been victims of the teens sordid plans.

FBI agents reportedly arrested 19-year-old Jared James Abrahams, who is accused of blackmailing and threatening to release naked photos of Cassidy Wolf into the public domain. Wolf was crowned Miss Teen USA in August.

Abrahams has been charged with cybercrimes and extortion, FBI officials have reported.

The sextortion photo plot took place soon after Wolf was crowned Miss Teen USA. Just last month, FBI agents reported that after several months of investigation they had identified a suspect in the sextortion case.

Wolf explained publicly that someone had managed to hack into her webcam and had stolen photos of her. She had received an anonymous email trying to extort her in exchange for keeping the photos of her private.

However, it now appears as though 19 year old Jared James Abraham was behind the scheme, and FBI officials have said that Abraham has confessed to using the scheme on a number of other women as well as the Miss Teen USA contestant.

"Abrahams used malicious software to disguise his identity in order to capture nude photos or videos of victims through remote operation of cameras on their home computers without their consent," a police report has said.

FBI agents have described that after emailing the sextortion photos to his victims, Abrahams would issue a threat to post them to their social media accounts unless they either sent him naked photos or "engaged in a Skype session with him and did what he said for five minutes."
