'Shades of Blue' spoilers: Jennifer Lopez stars as an FBI agent
NBC has an upcoming police procedural, legal, crime drama series called "Shades of Blue." The show is set in New York City and it centers on a woman named Harlee Santos, who is an FBI agent and a single mother. She works for the anti-corruption task force of the FBI, while she deals with her own financial problems.
The official synopsis of the show states that this hot new drama stars the recognizable Jennifer Lopez as an alluring detective and a single mother who fell in with a close-knit group of dirty cops. She took bribes and protection money that she used to provide a much better life for her daughter. However, when she is trapped by the FBI and persuaded to inform on her so-called brothers, she will walk a thin line between love, loyalty, honor, and betrayal while trying to keep it together for her only daughter. In a world where good people do strange things all the time, nothing is ever in black and white because there are tons of shades in between.
The show has an impressive cast. Aside from Jennifer Lopez, the cast list includes actor Ray Liotta. Ray will play Lieutenant Bill Wozniak, who is Harlee's protector. Actress Drea de Matteo will play Detective Tess Nazario. Actor Warren Kole will play Robert Staal, a young FBI agent.

The series has started filming already. Singer and actress Jennifer Lopez was seen shooting a scene from the show where she had to take a stumble after her character knocks on the door of a suspect. Lopez was wearing a very snazzy grey suit. And in another set of photos, she is seen doing various scenes like shooting a suspect, pointing a gun at a suspect, going dumpster diving, flirting with an unknown guy, and stopping an armed robbery. There is also a recent photo from the set where Lopez is seen arresting a man. In other photos, she is wearing a pretty blue suit and she looks really awesome.
Actress Jennifer Lopez shared a few pictures on Instagram from the set as she hung out with the rest of her fellow co-stars. She was seen shooting what looks like a pretty intense scene with actor Ray Liotta since she appears to be worried. She was wearing wide dress pants and a long trench coat. Liotta was wearing jeans, a plaid shirt, and a jacket.
The new show is set to air some time next year.
