'Shadow Of War' Gameplay Preview: Talion Rides a Winged Beast in Gameplay Teaser; Title to Release Epic Mithril Edition
The full official gameplay for the upcoming fantasy video game "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" is coming out and it promises another exciting foray in middle-earth when the title officially releases later this year.
The gameplay teases the game's main protagonist, Talion, riding a winged beast, which could possibly be a Drake, as reported by Gamespot. The closing section of the teaser video shows Talion raising his sword while a horde of Orcs gather behind him. The full official gameplay is expected to launch on Wednesday, March 8.
"Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" is the sequel to "Shadow of Modor," which was released back in 2014. The new and upcoming title was just announced last week and has been scheduled for an Aug. 22 release for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. It will also be available on PC via Steam and Windows 10.

The official announcement trailer gives excited fans a hint of what the in-game storyline will be all about. The game will be set between "The Hobbit" and "The Lord of the Rings" and will feature a "richer, more personal, and expansive world." The game will be showcasing epic heroes and villains along with the most iconic locations, some original enemy types, and a new set of characters with untold stories of their own.
The Mithril Edition of "Shadow War," which is reportedly priced at $299.99, will come with many exclusive bonuses including the "Middle-Earth: Shadow of War" Gold Edition with exclusive steelcase. The case on its own will sell at $99.99.
The Mithril Edition will also include a premium case with a magnetic Ring of Power, an exclusive Mithril war chest, the official game music soundtrack, a limited edition 12-inch Tar-Goroth Balrog vs. Carnan Drake Statue, a cloth map of Mordor, an exclusive collection of lithographs, tribe stricker pack and a collector's box.
Pre-ordering the said edition will also give the player four legendary Orc champions along with the epic Sword of Dominion, which will only be available while supplies last.
