Frank Gallagher (William H. Macy) is raising war over his family in "Shameless" Season 7. Fiona (Emmy Rossum) on the other hand, is set to prioritize her personal needs over her family members.
Frank Gallagher Declares War
In the last episode of the sixth season Frank was thrown into the Chicago River by his own children. Fiona's wedding did not push through after Frank revealed that Sean (Dermot Mulroney) was still using heroin. Lip agreed to go to rehab for being alcoholic and Debbie accepted Fiona's offer to help raise Frannie while Ian got his job back.

Upon waking up from his coma, Frank angrily faces his family after realizing that they were the ones who threw him into the river. Season 7 will pick up a month after the last episode and Frank will hand pick new kids from a shelter to replace his own. He will seek revenge and is airing out his rage towards his children.
Fiona Gets Selfish
Meanwhile, Fiona decides to take care of herself first before anything else. After being left at the altar on her wedding day, she is going through a hard time. She then demands a share from the other family members to pay their bills. This change will surprise family members and will do something drastic to have their own share. In fact, Debbie will steal just to give out her own share for payments. Season 7 will keep the Gallaghers busy with each of their lives while Frank is busy seeking revenge.
New Faces To Join This Season
Additionally, a new face is coming to the series once it returns. Tate Ellington is joining the show as Chad. He works with Fiona at Patsy's Pies and may be the reason of Fiona's dedication to her work. It is not yet revealed if he will become Fiona's love interest in the show. After all, Fiona has no plans as of yet in getting into a new relationship right after the hurtful event.
Aside from Ellington, June Squibb is also joining the cast as Etta. She is an 80-year old woman from Southside Chicago. She is believed to have strong ties with the Gallaghers. Sharon Lawrence is also joining the series. She plays Margo who happens to be the owner of the coffee shop where Fiona works. As the events unfold for the next season, Margo will become Fiona's role model as she struggles her way to coping up.
Fans and followers can expect "Shameless" Season 7 to air on October 2, 2016.
