Sheen Offers Role to Angus T Jones Following Two and a Half Men 'Filth' Video

Charlie Sheen has offered a role to Angus T. Jones on his show "Anger Management" following Jones' comments slamming "Two and a Half Men."

Sheen's offer comes just days after Jones labeled hit TV show "Two and a Half Men," which he is a main character on, as "filth."

Sheen previously called the show "cursed" in the wake of Jones' video, which went viral over the past week. Now the former "Two and a Half Men" star has said Jones is welcome to come onto his new show "Anger Management," which is Sheen's first show since being fired from "Two and a Half Men" himself nearly two years ago.

Charlie Sheen famously had what appeared to be a very public breakdown nearly two years ago when he was on the show, criticizing the program's writers and most of those involved with the show.

Previously in speaking about Jones' video to People magazine, Sheen said: "With Angus's Hale-Bopp-like meltdown, it is radically clear to me that the show is cursed."

Sheen's comments about a "Hale-Bopp-like meltdown" seemingly a reference to the infamous Heaven's Gate cult.

In another interview with ABC News, Sheen also said, "My former nephew is welcome at the Goodson 'Anger Management' home anytime," referring to the surname of his therapist alter-ego on the series.

Some have noted how Sheen's comments about Jones' videos appear to be short and stunted, which is different to his usual manner – he is known as someone not afraid to speak his mind.

However, many are suggesting that Sheen is trying to remain respectful to Jones, who he watched grow up on "Two and a Half Men," so he has tried not to be too negative or judgmental about the recent events.

Other media outlets are jumping on Sheen's "cursed" remarks about the show, highlighting that Ashton Kutcher, who took Sheen's part after he was fired, also had his marriage fall apart – which seemingly coincided with his being on the show.

The video by Angus T. Jones, who stars as Jake Harper - the underachieving son of Alan Harper, played by Jon Cryer, urged viewers to stop watching the show.

"Please stop watching it," Jones said of the show in a video posted by the Forerunner Chronicles in Seale, Ala., Monday. "Please stop filling your head with filth."

He also said, "People say it's just entertainment. Do some research on the effects of television and your brain, and I promise you you'll have a decision to make when it comes to television, especially with what you watch."

In addition, on his 19th birthday last month, Jones spoke on a radio broadcast called "The Voice of Prophecy," which was recorded for the Seventh-day Adventist Church.

In that interview, Jones admitted that he was a virgin that never drank alcohol and explained further why he was uncomfortable with appearing on "Two and a Half Men."

He said, "It's very weird that I'm on a television show, especially now that I am trying to walk with God. My television show has nothing to do with God and doesn't want anything to do with God."

Rainn Wilson, of "The Office," recently created a spoof of Jones' now widely publicized video. The spoof has immediately created waves among his fans as the comedian mocks the original video saying that he wishes viewers would not watch "The Office," but adding in details of how to watch.

The Office actor posted up a new video on his Facebook page on Tuesday. Rainn's tongue in cheek copy featured himself and his Office co-star, Craig Robinson.

The 46 year old Wilson says in the video, "Dwight from 'The Office' is nothing, OK? 'The Office' is nothing, all right? If you watch 'The Office,' please don't watch 'The Office.' I'm on 'The Office.' It's filth. And that filth will rot your brain."

However, Wilson also goes a step further, by apparently promoting the new time slot of the new series of The Office. Conveniently he added, "Take it from me, who's on 'The Office,' please don't watch it, Thursday nights at 9 on NBC. Do not watch this final season or that filth will rot your brain. Seriously."
