'Sherlock' Season 4 Trailer Previewed at Comic-Con 2016; New Villain, Cast Unveiled

There have been a lot of questions on the next season of "Sherlock" since it has been three years since the last season, but thankfully, fans were treated to a sneak peek of season 4 at the San Diego Comic-con last weekend.
New Trailer
A new trailer of "Sherlock" was unveiled at this year's Comic-Con International in San Diego. The trailer shows a new villain, portrayed by Toby Jones.
With only three episodes per season, "Sherlock" brings a lot of adventure and mystery to the small screen. Fans are more eager to follow on the show's unfolding events with the way the series unfolds.
The video also showcases the calmness of Dr. John Watson (Martin freeman), Molly Hooper (Louise Brealey) who seems very upset. It also shows Mary Morstan/Mrs. Watson (Amanda Abbington) who seems stealthy and with a gun in hand. The trailer also revealed Detective Inspector Greg Lestrade (Rupert Graves) who is defending himself and a Mrs. Hudson (Una Stubbs) who is calling Mycroft Holmes (Mark Gatiss)a "reptile."
However there is no footage of Sherlock and his Bloodhound sidekick, but there are images of a laughing Toby Young, creepy nurses and a "Sherlock" who is at shock.
The trailer shows the core of the characters in it which is full of drama and intensity in the relationships. The series though shows more and more on the development of "Sherlock's" character instead of the core idea of solving cases.
On the other hand, it does not necessary mean that there will be no more mysteries to solve because showrunner's Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat do have the materials as sources for the stories to unfold. These stories are based on Arthur Conan Doyle's collection.
The trailer reveals on how this series is really exciting and full of mystery. There are also intrigued of upcoming unforgettable moments in the series.
One of the unforgettable clues in the upcoming fourth season of the series is the message from already presumed-dead villain, Jim Morirarty (Andrew Scott) saying "Miss Me?"
Viewers have been eager to know what is next for the adventure of "Sherlock" and what mysteries to solve. Thus, a lot are waiting for the fourth season at this time.
This mystery will unfold once the season 4 of "Sherlock" will premiere in 2017.
