'Shin Megami Tensei HD' Nintendo Switch Release Date: New Info Dropping Next Month
Fans will learn more about the highly anticipated game "Shin Megami Tensei HD" on Oct. 23, Atlus has announced at the 2017 Tokyo Game Show (TGS).
The studio showed the same teaser that they released early this year to hype things up before revealing that they are saving the new information for the said date.
The next month is a huge deal for the "Shin Megami Tensei" franchise because it will mark the 25th year since the very first installment that started it all was released. It has grown bigger and unstoppable ever since.
On the day of the "Shin Megami Tensei HD" reveal, the "Shin Megami Tensei 25th Anniversary Live – Chaos Side" concert will also be held. Atlus composers Shoji Meguro and Ryota Kozuka will grace the event as special guests so Oct. 23 is bound to be a very special day for the long-running video game series and its loyal fans.
Gamers have been waiting for updates about "Shin Megami Tensei HD" ever since it was announced for the Nintendo Switch back in January.
Details about the game have been strictly kept under wraps ever since the announcement. What's known only at the moment is that the title is that it is being made with the Unreal Engine 4, which means it will boast excellent visuals and graphics.
"Shin Megami Tensei HD" is currently only confirmed for Japan. There is no news yet about the game releasing in the western market. At the time of the announcement of the game's development, Atlus USA had no word on that yet. They told IGN:
