Si Robertson of 'Duck Dynasty' Quietly Releases 6 Country Songs on iTunes

Si Robertson of the famous "Duck Dynasty" family has released six songs as part of a country music EP on iTunes this week, including one duet between Si and country music singer Kix Brooks.

The songs, entitled collectively as "Me and My Smokin Hot Honey," were released on iTunes on Tuesday, and include collaborations with various country music stars, including Brooks and The Maudlin Brothers. Si, known as the quirky uncle of the Robertson family on A&E's "Duck Dynasty" reality show, sings on two of the tracks, while the other four songs are performed by Jessica Andrews, Zach Harris, Ally Moore and Marsha Robertson, among others. The EP is being sold on iTunes for $5.99.

According to Fox 411, one of the songs on the EP, "Can't Take the Swamp Outta the Man," was recorded by Si and Kix Brooks in honor of Si's 43-year wedding anniversary to his wife, Christine. Brooks and Si reportedly sang the song together as Christine walked down the aisle at a renewing of their marriage vows last month.

Si told Fox 411 that he's considering making country music a new career endeavor, saying: "I'm gonna make this my new career choice […] I had a blast!"

Si and the rest of the Robertson family have previous musical ties, especially to the country music world. At Si and Christine's vow renewal ceremony, the couple had each guest sign a custom art piece by artist Kristen Myers that included a personalized note from country music star Garth Brooks and his wife, Trisha Yearwood.

Last December, the Robertson family also collaborated on creating a Christmas album entitled "Duck the Halls: A Robertson Family Christmas," where several family members, including Willie Robertson, Phil and Miss Kay, sang various parts of traditional Christmas songs. Along with singing "You're A Mean One, Mr. Grinch" and "I'll Be Home For Christmas," the family also sang newly-created songs, including "Hairy Christmas" and a "Ragin' Cajun Redneck Christmas."

The Robertson family's Christmas album included cameos by well-known country music artists, including Luke Bryan, George Strait, Josh Turner and Alison Krauss. The album was marketed as a classic example of the Robertson brand of "Southern, down-home sense of humor."
