"View" co-host Sherri Shepherd pointed out Houghton's 11 Christian music albums released over the past 15 years, and asked the singer how working with his daughter Mariah felt before noting that she sings many of his songs during worship in her church.

"One of the songs we did was an old Bob Dylan song, 'To Make You Feel My Love,''' replied Houghton after affirming that recording with his daughter was a very special landmark.

"My daughter sang it with this purity- she's 15-years-old, almost 16, and it was amazing to look out and see 16,000 all crying," he added of a performance by Mariah Houghton.

Houghton's newest album hits stores August 14. The four-time Grammy Award-winner is best known for his albums "The Power of One," "Deeper Level," and "Alive in South Africa."

Among his numerous other awards, Houghton has earned six Dove Awards, two Stellar Awards, and a Soul Train Award.

The King's Men tour, produced by Live Nation Entertainment, launches on Sept. 16. It marks the first time the four talented singers will have toured together.

During the "King of Gospel" performance, Franklin, McClurkin, Sapp, and Houghton delivered a powerful, energetic performance. The four singers incorporate a cross-cultural sound into their songs which include jazz, rock, hip-hip, and gospel, among others.
