'Sister Wives' News: Reality Stars React to Tragic Las Vegas Shooting
The tragic Las Vegas shooting left many people shaken and devastated, including the "Sister Wives" cast members who live just near the area where it happened.
The incident, which killed 59 individuals and left over 500 injured, was something that hit close to home for the reality stars. Fans are well aware that Kody Brown and his four wives have been residing in Las Vegas for six years now.
Aside from mentioning that he and his family are safe, Kody also tweeted that the entire Brown clan was at the same venue last week to see the band Imagine Dragons perform live at the T-Mobile Arena. His newly engaged son and his soon-to-be wife Michelle were also in attendance.
"My family is safe. It is crazy that 7 of us were in a concert right across the street on Friday night. So sad...#PrayforVegas," he wrote.
The said arena can be found in the densely populated area of the Las Vegas strip. It is located near the New York New York Casino and Hotel, and is around one block from the Mandalay Bay, where gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire on all Harvest festival attendees.
Logan's engagement to Michelle was announced in September. Despite the negative comments on the reality program's format, Kody's son Logan still managed to find someone who will continue to love him for who he is.
"I did a thing ... the best thing I have ever done. #engaged," Logan wrote on Instagram.
Michelle is no stranger to the franchise because she has appeared in multiple episodes before. The soon-to-be-married couple has yet to announce their wedding date.
Debuted in 2010, "Sister Wives" ran for a total of seven seasons. The earliest episodes saw Kody and his wives as they documented their polygamous lifestyle. The first season explored their lives in Utah as a family, but they later moved to Las Vegas.
TLC has yet to officially confirm the renewal of "Sister Wives."
