'Sister Wives' Season 8: Meri Brown Leaving Kody?
The interesting, polygamous family of the Browns may lose a member as reports of Meri Brown leaving patriarch Kody Brown have continued to swirl.
Meri has had a tough couple of years. Kody divorced her in order to marry Robyn, making the latter his legal partner out of all of his wives. On top of that, Meri found herself in the middle of a catfishing scandal when the "man" she had an online affair with was revealed to be a woman named Jackie Overton.
Her relationship with the other sister wives has not been great, too. According to a report from InTouch Weekly in early March, Meri is apparently leaving Kody for good. "Meri is a bit removed from the rest of the family," a source told the media outlet exclusively.
On Feb. 25, Meri was notably absent as Kody and his wives--Robyn, Christine and Janelle--went to Las Vegas. The Brown family traveled to the Nevada city in order to celebrate Janelle's new business called Strive With Janelle.
Apart from that, the source added that Kody himself was not wholly devoted to their little celebration either. "Kody kept walking away. He seemed distracted the whole time," the source said.
The catfishing scandal definitely took an enormous toll on Meri, and it is completely understandable if she wants some space to cope. However, rumor has it that Meri is not the only one who has been having problems with Kody.
Speculations were rife in late 2016 that Christine was also considering leaving Kody because of her negative relationship with Robyn. It is no secret that the two wives have clashed in the past, but their efforts to make up apparently did not last.
In other news, Kody and Janelle are going to be grandparents soon as their daughter, Maddie, is expecting. Maddie, who is married to Caleb Brush, celebrated the upcoming arrival of her first child recently with a baby shower.
