'Sisters' News: Amy Poehler and Tina Fey in Good Spirits During Press Tour Despite 'Star Wars' Crushing Box Office Records
"Sisters" has recently been released, and despite "Star Wars" crushing box office records, co-stars Amy Poehler and Tina Fey proved that they're still good as they made their interviewers laugh during their press tour.
According to E! News, the two ladies, who happen to be good friends in real life, turned the interviews into lively parties. The outlet saved some of the best lines from the two who starred in "Sisters."
In one of the talks, Poehler "suggested" that she and Fey slept together, noting the importance of getting to know your co-stars so the set and filming will be much more easier to handle. "The chemistry was already there," she reportedly said.
During their interview with Extra TV, the two were asked if there have been times that they spent some holidays together instead of being with their own families. In Poehler-Fey fashion, they said they traveled to Switzerland together without the knowledge of their families.
Fey also joined in the fun as she named the numerous projects and jobs she worked on with her friend, even adding JC Penney to the long list. Note: She said they work during the weekends "in the automotive department."
She also made a statement when she was asked by Entertainment Tonight how her kids react to their mother's acting skills. It just so happens that her two lovely children aren't really impressed with their Hollywood momma. "My little one would describe me as boring, and my older one has described me as a chicken," she said, with Poehler laughing in the background.
Poehler and Fey's most recent stint as a duo is "Sisters," wherein they play the role of sisters whose parents have placed their family home on the list of houses for sale.
Definitely not over the news of having one weekend left to get their stuff out of the house, the two decided to throw a final party that aimed to relive their olden days as youngsters. Their former classmates come over, and as the party gets deep into the night, they discover that the house for sale may not pass up in the list anymore once their friends leave.
