'Sleepy Hollow' Season 4 Finale: Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse Arrive in the Real World; Major Revelation Promised
This week's episode of "Sleepy Hollow" will mark the end of season 4. Titled "Freedom," the season finale will see Team Witness in their final bid to stop Dreyfuss (Jeremy Davies).
This is no easy task as the madman billionaire has obtained enough power to infiltrate the White House. He even made sure his underlings are ready for action as he made them strong enough to fend off Ichabod Crane's (Tom Mison) group and anyone looking to stop his rise to power.
The "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 finale is one to look forward to as it will finally show the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse in action in the real world, as revealed to TVLine by co-showrunner Albert Kim.
"They are actually, for the first time, galloping on Earth. We see how powerful they are and what they can do. That represents, essentially, the ultimate challenge for our team," he went on to say.
Kim teases that the "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 finale will bring forth something that even Crane and Abbie (Nicole Beharie) have not seen before.
"They had one or two of the horsemen, but this is the full team riding, and under Dreyfuss' control. So that's a big thing, just in terms of action and plot," the showrunner teased.
Kim also promised that by the end of "Sleepy Hollow" season 4, fans will learn why the motto of the country is "E pluribus unum," which is Latin for "One out of many."
Although the season is nearing its end, FOX is yet to announce the fate of the series. Whether or not it will be back for another run remains a mystery at the moment.
"Sleepy Hollow" season 4 is basically a soft reboot of the series with majority of the cast replaced with brand-new characters. Many fans were doubtful how the show could stay afloat like this especially after killing off Abbie.
However, the show has recently been renewing the faith of fans, many of whom are now convinced that "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 should not be the end of it all.
The "Sleepy Hollow" season 4 finale, "Freedom," airs Friday, March 31, at 9 p.m. ET on FOX.
