Snapchat Love Story in UW-Madison Goes Viral
Every love story is unique and worth telling. But in this modern day and age, uniqueness can go as far as finding "love" in a very unusual way including Snapchat videos. In a report by WUWM, two students from UW-Madison made some buzz online after they used Snapchat's location-based story feature to make what seemed like a romantic connection.
It all started when "Mystery Girl," who was later on identified as zoology and environmental studies senior Abby Diamond, posted a snap saying that she saw a guy donning a Vikings jersey on the university's Snapchat story. Taking the video at the campus' Memorial Library, she said in the snap: "Guy wearing the Vikings jersey on the UW snap story, I'm seriously in love with you. Find me."
The guy, whose name is Reed Bjork and known as the "Viking Fan," surprisingly responded to the snap of Mystery Girl. He posted a snap letting Diamond know that he would be waiting for her at the Discovery Building. Unfortunately, the college girl missed the blonde-hair guy's snap but told him that she'd be going out later that night.

That's when other students started to chime in to the ongoing love story. A number posted their own snaps to the story. Some were very caught up with the whole thing while others expressed their support and cheer to finding each other. One user said, "You can sit right there and do your project, or you can get your ass up and you can find that girl, man. She's looking for you!" Another one also said that she refreshed her Snapchat "every 30 seconds" for updates.
The Snapchat rom-com concluded after the two finally crossed paths in the Kollege Klub. Greeting each other with a passionate embrace, Diamond and Bjorn made their followers happy. WKOW.com reported that the two became a hit after the meetup with invitation for interview pouring in left and right.
But when asked about their status, Diamond and Bjorn admitted that they have not taken a serious step and remained friends as they are busy with their exams. They do hang out together but as to where their relationship will head is still to be known.
