Snooki Almost Down to Goal Weight of 98 Pounds

Nicole Polizzi, best known by her nickname, Snooki, is looking like a different person these days after shedding a good amount of pounds between seasons of "Jersey Shore."

The proud Jersey "guidette" will be making her first "skinny" appearance on MTV's hit show "Jersey Shore" tonight.

Yahoo reports that Snooki works out at the gym at a feverish pace and even updates her nearly four million followers about her routines.

"As everyone's planning their night at the club, I'm wondering when Gold's [Gym] closes," she Tweeted.

Snooki's workout plan consists of calorie cutting cardio, and a diet pill called Zantrex-3.

The 24-year-old told People that she works with a trainer, did Zumba classes and eat healthy.

She maintains that some eat "egg whites in the morning and chicken and salads." She stated, "And if you do drink, it's gotta be clear liquors."

Snooki knew when it was time to splurge a little, but even still doubled up her workouts in preparation. "Getting an extra hard workout in this morning so I can enjoy a Xmas cookie... Or 2," she Tweeted.

One of the reasons she began to lose weight was her, and not because gossip sites were putting her down. "I didn't lose weight for them. I did it for me," she said to the Daily Mail.

While in high school she was part of the cheerleading squad and in peak condition, except she let it go too far and wound up dangerously anorexic at 80 pounds.

The petite 4-foot 9-inch star told E! Online that she was almost at her goal of 98 pounds, but was currently at 102.

According to Yahoo, one of its top searches for December was "Snooki weight loss" at 970 percent with another 200 percent going to "Snooki skinny" and "Snooki 98 pounds."
