Snooki Back to Tanning: Assures She Will Not Be Spray Tanning Her Baby (PHOTOS)

Snooki posted her relief to go tanning on Friday following almost a year hiatus due to her pregnancy.

Nicole Polizzi, better known as Snooki, was forced to take a break from tanning following her announcement that she had become pregnant. However now that the star has given birth - Lorenzo Dominic was born at the end of August - the star's Jersey Shore vanity has finally caught up and she posted that she was eager to get a tan.

"Omg just went tanning since like a year ago. #snookilotion thank u," she wrote on Twitter.

Snooki had previously acknowledged that she would not be going to get tanned for the duration of her pregnancy. But since her son's birth the star seems to have had her mind less on tanning and more on her new family.

"Cuddle time with Lorenzo & Jionni !!!" the star wrote Friday night.

"Ah I'm so in love with my family!!! Legit blessed," she added on Saturday.

Snooki apparently went on a date Saturday night. In addition to primping herself for a night out, the star bought a new pair of high heels, another item that had posed an issue while she was pregnant.

"Back in the shoe game," she tweeted adding a photo of tan, high platforms with black ankle straps.

Despite a fresh tan however and her proclaimed need to go tanning often, Snooki has stated that she would never take her son along with her. In an interview on "Extra" the star was critical of Patricia Krentcil, who made the news after she took her 6-year-old tanning with her and became infamously known as the "tanning mom."

"That [bleep] is crazy," Snooki said. "You are not supposed to take kids there. Everyone knows you are not supposed to take kids there."

"I won't be spray tanning my baby," she said in a second interview with Us Weekly.
