Sofia Vergara, actress on “Modern Family,” has spoken out against fad diets after having a wardrobe malfunction last week that made news.
Although some were aghast about Vergara getting photographed wearing leggings that show a little more skin that she realized, others were more taken at how good the 39-year-old actress looked.
However, aside from taking the advice of her dermatologist and packing on the sunscreen, the actress says she doesn’t really do much, or at least not too much.
"Everything in moderation, not too much food, not too much exercise, not too much anything is my method,” she said.
The actress also said that she tries to avoid fad diets and weird eating regimes. She reported to ABC that she was less than willing to rise early in the morning to exercise.
"I can't wake up at four in the morning to exercise. If I have to be on the set at six, I work out on the weekends,” she claimed.
Vergara was nominated for two Golden Globes and has also appeared in movies like Tyler Perry’s “Meet the Browns” and “New Year’s Eve.”
The actress has also released an exclusive clothing line at K-Mart. Originally from Colombia, the actress attended dental school before being discovered and becoming a model and host. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
