PlayStation Summer Sale Games List August 2015: Sony PlayStation Store Holds Summer Sale
If Microsoft has its "Deals with Gold," Sony has its PlayStation Summer Sale. The summer sale, which started last July 29, will last for one whole month and is said to bring a lot of savings for gamers. It seems to be a good time for gamers to start building up their game collection or catch savings on a game they have had their eye on for a long time. Up to 70 per cent discount is being given on selected games for different types of PS consoles.
According to a report in Eurogamer, the summer sale will bring down game prices "roughly in line, and sometimes under, the cheaper retailer deals." Aside from the discounts on offer, there is an extra ten per cent discount for PlayStation Plus members on top of what is on offer.
The summer sale is exclusively available on the online Sony PlayStation Store. Owners of PS4, PS3 and PS Vita consoles are encouraged to head on down to the store where they can pick and choose from a long list of games. Surprisingly, some movie titles are available as well, although most of them are older, non-box office titles.

Those living in the U.S. will be luckier than those in other countries. According to a Tech Times report, the list of discounts on offer will change weekly. The current list which has over 50 games, will change at the end of week 1, which is said to end on August 3, 9 a.m. Pacific Time. A new list will be available after every week, which means that there are three more lists that gamers can look forward to. The sale will end on Aug. 24.
Among the games included in the week 1 list are "Bloodborne," "Project Cars," "Dragon Age: Inquisition" and "Alien: Isolation." "Jaws of Hakkon" DLC is offered at half-price. There are other noted favorites "Far Cry 4," "Deadpool," and "Tetris Ultimate."
